Eddie Molina

Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission
Eddie Molina, originally from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, has
been employed in Texas State Government for the past 25 years. He is
currently the Special Assistant to the Deputy Director for Administrative
Services. Prior to that he was the Director of the Financial Administration
Division and the Director for the Grants and Contracts Management Division
of the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission. Eddie also worked as
the Manager for Administration and Logistical Support in the Municipal
Solid Waste Division, and has served within the Associateship for
Environmental and Consumer Health Protection with the Texas Department of
Health.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas (1979)
at Austin and a Master of Public Administration from Southwest Texas State
University (1989) in San Marcos and is an active member of the Pi Alpha
Alpha National Honor Society for Public Administration. He served as Chair
for the Master of Public Administration Advisory Council at Southwest Texas
State University. Mr. Molina also served as President of the Board for the
Central Texas Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA).
He currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee for CenTex ASPA
and as an Adjunct Professor at Southwest Texas State University. In
addition, Mr. Molina currently serves on the Advisory Board for the
Certified Public Manager Program at Southwest Texas State University.
All of Eddie's career has been devoted to Public Health and
Environmental Health. He was instrumental in the consolidation of
environmental regulatory programs from the Texas Department of Health into
the Texas Water Commission. Mr. Molina also served as part of the
Consolidation Management Team which consolidated the Texas Air Control
Board and the Texas Water Commission to form what is now known as the Texas
Natural Resource Conservation Commission.
