Terry Dossey
Research Scientist
Terry Dossey has been participating in pavement research for more than twenty years. Specializing in computer models employing statistical, numerical and operations research techniques, Dossey has written many papers and reports relating to concrete material properties and pavement management databases. He has served as Principal Investigator on many current and past TxDOT projects.
At present, Dossey is employed by the Center for Transportation Research, located at the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently serving as principal investigator on a five-year study of pavement noise. He is also active in designing embedded sensors to monitor temperatures in curing concrete and detect black ice formation in porous friction courses.
