Faculty Spotlight: Mary Mulvaney, MSSW

Clinical Professor, School of Social Work

Professor Mulvaney’s research and professional interests include child welfare, child and family services, and social work administration and management. In one of her roles at the School of Social Work, she oversees the field education of Social Work graduate students interning at the Travis County Juvenile Probation Deferred Prosecution Unit.

Professor Mulvaney is currently mentoring an undergraduate student, Brittany Burch, who is working on an independent research project evaluating the effectiveness of the juvenile delinquency program staffed by the UT Social Work interns.
