Current FSEL Research

The Ferguson Laboratory's current activities include sponsored structural engineering research in traditional and innovative areas. Results from physical testing, combined with state-of-the-art analytical models, are used to evaluate the behavior and design of reinforced concrete, steel, timber, masonry, and composite structures. Special applications include the performance of buildings, bridges, and offshore structures, and the repair and rehabilitation of structures. Study sponsors include the following:
