Bill comes to the Office of Industry Engagement after serving as Associate Director for Industrial Relations at the Office of Sponsored Projects at UT Austin. In this role, he worked directly with industry and other universities to foster collaborative research at UT Austin. Previously, Bill served three years as Associate Director of the Office of Technology Commercialization, UT Austin, where his responsibilities included increasing the effectiveness of the technology commercialization process.

Bill holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt School of Law and an M.S. in Engineering and B.S. in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He is licensed as both an attorney and a professional engineer in the state of Texas. He is a member of Chi Epsilon and Tau Beta Pi engineering honor societies.
