Cayuse Training

The Cayuse424 system is a powerful tool for researchers submitting grant applications to the federal government. Cayuse424 allows users to: 1) pull the funding opportunity from grants.gov; 2) create a grant application without the need for the PureEdge viewer; 3) route the application to the Office of Sponsored Projects; and 4) allows the Office of Sponsored Projects to submit the application directly to grants.gov. Currently, the University is only mandating the use of Cayuse for applications to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) – with the exception of applications that have not been transitioned to grants.gov (i.e., K series).

Cayuse, Inc. has developed very detailed training modules that will help users take advantage of all features contained in the Cayuse424 system. The modules provide a step-by-step overview of each phase of the proposal preparation and submission process.

You must have PowerPoint or the PowerPoint viewer installed on your machine to access the content. If you do not have PowerPoint loaded on your machine, visit the Microsoft website and download a viewer. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/FX101321101033.aspx?pid=CL100570421033
