|Procter & Gamble Higher Education Grant Program|
|Funding Agency Deadline||09/30/11|
|Funding or Award Criteria||
Program Description: P&G focuses its social investments on our global cause, Live, Learn and Thrive. Their cause comes to life through initiatives in communities around the world, reaching children in need. To help children live by ensuring a healthy start; provide them with places, tools and programs that enhance their ability to learn; and help them develop skills for life so they can thrive.
Each request is carefully evaluated to determine alignment with Live, Learn and Thrive and to be certain P&G is investing in sustainable solutions. There may be other needs and concerns in P&G communities where they operate around the world; however, their primary focus is Live, Learn and Thrive. Because their resources are limited, P&G cannot fund every worthy endeavor and their grant competition is extremely competitive.
The P&G Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation cannot make grants to (a) individuals, (b) endowments or programs promoting a particular religion, (c) political, legislative or fraternal organizations, (d) athletic, social or veterans organizations or (e) any organizations that do not have tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended, or its equivalent. Certain supporting organizations established under Section 509(a)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended, may also not be eligible to receive grants from the P&G Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
