Familiarizing yourself with the Project

custdiv3.gif (1619 bytes)

After reviewing the first two sections of Formulating a Research Question, skim the Guide to the Constructs and the Abstracts. These documents will give you a good sense of the scope of the Project and an awareness of previous research that has been carried out using PAIR Project data. Nonetheless, the Project may seem somewhat impenetrable. To really understand the Project, you will need to move from passively acquiring information about to interacting with the material actively. One of the best ways to do this is to do a detailed case study of a couple drawn from the PAIR Project sample. The Guide to Creating a Case Study provides a template for PAIR Project case studies.
