discrete Happily married: both spouses were satisfied, i.e., both spouses had each a value above 4. Distressed: at least one spouse was dissatisfied, i.e., had a value below 4. Short-term (early) divorce: married less than 7 years. Long-term (later) divorce: married 7 or more years.
