International Research

From geography students examining conditions in the Amazon River regions of South America to faculty collaborations on international research projects to faculty digging into Parisian libraries, international research efforts are a vibrant part of The University of Texas at Austin.

More than 1,000 scholars came from other countries to the Austin campus to conduct research in 2003 and nearly 5,000 foreign students studied here.

Virtually every college, school and department at the university has international programs and projects either well-established or under way.
