Elizabeth Tornquist has served for three decades as a national technical writing consultant and provides proposal writing workshops for many disciplines at a variety of U.S. universities. She has published books and articles on technical writing, is a recipient of several Book of the Year Awards and her presentations have covered such topics as “Writing for Publication,” “Preparing Research Grant Proposals” and “How to Write a Grant Proposal.”
Target Audience
This presentation is open to members of The University of Texas at Austin campus. New faculty, assistant professors, individuals who have not previously submitted proposals to the National Institutes of Health, as well as individuals who are interested in refreshing their proposal writing skills will benefit the most by attending.
