eProtocol IACUC Information Central

In efforts of streamlining the IACUC application process and providing better and convenient services to our researchers and laboratory personnel, the Vice President for Research has acquired a new electronic information management system: eProtocol IACUC.

eProtocol IACUCeProtocol IACUC will allow the online submission, review, routing, and tracking of animal research protocols. The goal is to facilitate the protocol roles of the principal investigator, laboratory personnel, and the IACUC reviewers through a single application that provides complete view/edit privileges on each protocol and instant communication via email between user groups.

The IACUC is integrating Investigators into eProtocol IACUC and we encourage you to complete all new or third-year resubmissions using eProtocol IACUC. While we will still accept protocols in using the current Word Document (available on our Forms page) format, we encourage everyone to begin using eProtocol IACUC

To create an eProtocol, please log in at https://jerry.orsc.utexas.edu/iacuc/. You will be prompted to enter your UT EID and password (see our FAQs on this topic.)
