EUREKA!

"A new web-based resource to facilitate undergraduate participation in the numerous areas of research and innovation available at UT Austin. EUREKA! features tips on getting started in research in any field, information about funding and publication, research opportunities associated with the new Bridging Disciplines Programs in Connexus (hot link to Connexus web site) a database of faculty research interests, postings for current research positions, and much more."

Natural Sciences Undergraduate Research Program
"The College of Natural Sciences Undergraduate Research Program provides resources to students at all stages in their research, helping them find research positions, fund individual projects and publish their research. Resources include tips on how to get started, a searchable database of faculty, a database of summer research programs around the world, a mailing list of positions and research news, lists of funding sources, and a calendar of special events and workshops."

Undergraduate Research Fellowships
"Provide support (up to $1,000) for specific scholarly investigative projects conducted by University of Texas at Austin undergraduates. These fellowships are intended to cover costs associated with academic research projects proposed and written by student applicants and undertaken with the supervision of a University faculty member, lecturer, senior lecturer or full-time Research Scientist or Engineer."

SURGe - Science Undergraduate Research Group
SURGe is dedicated to increasing awareness about the numerous facilities and opportunities available to students interested in Undergraduate Scientific Research at UT.

UT-Austin Sigma Xi
"Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society is the honor society of scientists and engineers that recognizes scientific achievement. Publishes the online journal JUSE (The Journal of Undergraduate Sciences and Engineering), a scientific peer review journal for undergraduates in the US and abroad."  

Intellectual Entrepreneurship pre-Graduate Program
Explore the problems and challenges facing efforts to link academia and society, thus underscoring the fact that there is a growing group of top-flight faculty who are wrestling with these issues because of a profound desire to do research that makes a difference — faculty who truly understand that service is more than the third pillar of the University’s mission and that there should not be an inherent trade-off between research and service.
