So, have we now done all we need to do and do we know all we need to know about Superpave? Shall we move to new frontiers, declare victory and go home, hang our heads in defeat, or continue what we are about? Is Superpave a flawed product, or a promising system? Will we ever get decent answers about the problems with Superpave mixes and laydown problems? Is it worth the effort?
Who knows! But unless we keep looking for answers, unless we continue on what we are about, we will never find out. There have been many excellent successes with Superpave throughout the country. And there have been some very well publicized problems! What we need to do is continue building on the successes, with appropriate publicity; and work on resolving the problems.
