The first group is our Superpave "Listserve" Newsgroup. To join our group, fill out the form below and then subscrbe. You will receive email from the group.
The second group is a true Interent Newsgroup, in that you must use your Internet browser to visit a set of webpages to read and reply to the posted email. Check out Ken Hobson's new Online Newsgroup, for a second way to discuss Superpave technology online!
Both groups discuss Superpave-related technology. We hope that you find both groups useful.
The purpose of our Superpave group is to bring professionals together who, though widely separated throughout the states, are all involved in resolving the technical issues of Superpave technology. The email list will be moderated by Superpave experts, who will be available for online consultation to all participants. Membership will be strictly "permissioned," so that members will be spared "junk" email and "flame" mail.
The way an email group works is this: each person who subscribes to the group will receive mail from any other member who writes the group with a question, problem, or comment related to Superpave. Each member has the privilege of writing to the Superpave group to ask for comments or advice about their own issues or concerns.
If you have information to share on the topic raised by another, you can either choose to reply to the group or to the individual member. Any information or solutions that are publically posted to the group will be monitored by experts in the field, who then may make their own comments or corrections to that information.
Email groups, with specialized subjects such as Superpave, are growing on the Internet, because they allow each person working within a specialized technology to learn from other's experiences. This creates a synergy.
We feel strongly that participating in this email group will facilitate quick answers and solutions to the implementation of Superpave technology. Please subscribe to the list, so that you may take part of in our discussions, and be a resource to others in the field. We hope that you will enjoy this service. We invite Superpave professionals worldwide to join in the group!
