Texas Beyond History: TARL's Virtual Museum of Texas Cultural Heritage
Texas Beyond History (TBH) is a public
education website and virtual museum created by the Texas Archeological
Research Laboratory in partnership with the Texas Archeological Society, 13 other organizations,
and many contributors. TBH was launched on October 1, 2001 and continues
to grow. Above is a facsimile of the TBH website's main page. Visitors can
click on any of the archeological sites on the map tool to tour
a virtual museum exhibit featuring overviews, site
and artifact pictures, drawings, maps, stories, technical details, and other information.
There are also special sections providing kids with fun facts and activities
