The Telecommunications & Information Policy Institute (TIPI) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement sets out our privacy policy and tells you whther we collect any type of personal information rom our readers. Please read the following to understand our views and practices regarding personal information. What Information Does TIPI Gather About You?

Although we currently don't have cookies set up we may in the future collect a limited amount of information about our readers, so that we can provide a more useful site. If this happens, this privacy statement will be updated, and the information gathered, if and when we do it, will be under the form of IP addresses, and there will not be any association between that data and your personal information, such as email address or name.

Currently, the only personal inforamtion you enter is volunteer - if you want to join our mailing list.

 

How Does NSI Use Your Personal Information?

The information gathered thourgh the mailing list refers only to email addresses. We will not share them with third parties and the emials we'll send will be very low traffic (1 per month in average, maximum) - messages sent regard only the area of TIPI that, by subscribign to the list, you shoed us you're interested in - we may announce national or local conferences, or tell you how to access the newsletter we periodically publish.

 

Will TIPI Disclose Any of Your Personal Information?

TIPI will not disclose any information about individual users, except as described in this Privacy Statement, or to comply with applicable laws or valid legal process, or to protect the rights or property of TIPI.

We do not give, rent, lend, or sell individual information to any advertisers.

We may disclose personal information in some limited circumstances, and always under your aproval. For example, if you contacted us and shared with us that you are involved in a project dealing with wireless equipment for K12, and someone else has a smilar porject we may ask you if you would like us to put you in touch with the other person.

 

Will TIPI Use Your Information for Direct Mailings?

TIPI will not use your information for direct mailings.

 

What Else Should You Know About Your Privacy?

Please note: once a subscription to the mailing list is created, you will get a confirmation email acknowledging your subscription to the address that you sent.
