2012 Pavement Friction Restoration by High Velocity Impact Method

The Pavement Preservation Strategies pavement friction restoration by the high velocity impact method was held at Center for Transportation Research in Austin on May 2. The workshop was jointly sponsored by Skidabrader and the Texas Pavement Preservation Center. Dr. Yetkin Yildirim talked about Pavement Preservation and Texture. Friction and Texture Overview was presented by Thomas J. Yager from NASA Langley Research Center. Gary Billiard, president of Skidabrader, gave a presentation on Friction and Texture Enhancement.
