Gary D. Charlton, P.E., Dallas District Director of Maintenance

Gary D. Charlton received his Bachelor of Science in 1984 from University of Texas at Arlington. In August 1984, Charlton worked for a consulting engineering firm for over a year. He began working for TxDOT in Dallas District Design in 1985 as an Engineering Assistant. Charlton was transferred to the Kaufman County Area office in 1990 as a Design Engineer. In 1991, he was promoted as Assistant Area Engineer. In 1993, Charlton became Kaufman County Area Engineer. Since 1998, he has been the Dallas District Director of Maintenance.
