Training

One of the primary goals for TPPC is training.  Our training courses provide hands-on experience to a wider audience of engineers and technicians.  TPPC provides training on pavement preservation techniques, with specific courses being tailored to meet the needs of TxDOT and partner organizations.

Newly identified research and techniques will be incorporated into the training courses. Our TPPC staff is available to provide off-site training or to assist in the design and evaluation of individual pavement construction projects.

In recognition of the need for education and training related to pavement preservation, the 2007 Pavement Preservation Seminar, held on October 8-9, 2007 in Austin, Texas, presented a thorough overview of the latest concepts, techniques, and materials related to pavement preservation.
