NURSE CORPS

Four-year NROTC scholarships are available to students interested in pursuing bachelor of science degrees in nursing (BSN). If selected for the scholarship, the selectee must major and be accepted into a nursing degree program leading to a BSN. On graduation, Nursing Option NROTC Scholarship midshipmen will be commissioned as Reserve Officers in the Navy Nurse Corps.

Nursing Option NROTC Scholarship eligibility and selection procedures are the same as regular four-year NROTC Scholarship Program. Academic, physical and military requirements differ slightly from regular NROTC. The Nurse Scholarship Program is not recommended for those desiring to pursue any other medical program.
