Marine Corps
As a Marine Option (MO) or Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP) student, you will have taken your first step towards a series of trials that will not only test your mental but physical abilities as well, as you seek to obtain a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to being a member of the NROTC Battalion, you will belong to an elite group known as the Leatherneck Platoon.
As a Leatherneck Platoon member the following instructions will be provided:
- Conditioning Hikes
- Land Navigation
- Small Unit Leadership Drills
- Physical Training
- Naval Science Courses
Upon completion of a college degree and Officer Candidate School, you will continue down the path that many wish to travel but only a few are able to achieve... the title of a United States Marine.
