Bloodborne Pathogens
The university falls under the Texas Bloodborne Pathogen Control Rule, Chapter 96 of the Texas Administrative Code. For more information please review the University Exposure Control Plan and the supplemental information on Laundry Service. The Texas Rule as well as the Federal OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Regulation, 29 CFR 1910.1030 are provided below. Workers at the University subject to the Bloodborne Pathogens program are required to attend OH 218 Bloodborne Pathogens training annually.
