President Powers Commits to Strong Safety Culture
President Bill Powers has signed a unique Statement of Commitment to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). His signature represents an important milestone in the ongoing effort to build a strong safety culture across the university. In this important Statement President Powers calls on all members of the university community to: 1) work to reduce occupational injuries and illness, 2) work safely and 3) minimize adverse environmental impacts. He has also publicly reaffirmed his personal commitment to “continually improving our EHS performance by adopting best practices”.
