Mail Safety Info Sessions

University staff members learned about suspicious mail from Mike Sullivan, postal inspector for the United States Postal Service.

Campus Mail Services held informational sessions about suspicious mail on April 16 and May 1, 2009. The sessions were led by Mike Sullivan of the United States Postal Service, who taught participants how to identify suspicious mail and discussed the importance of establishing departmental protocols.

About 100 university staff members attended the sessions, which Campus Mail decided to host in response to the recent delivery of a suspicious letter on campus. Campus Mail received positive feedback from all participants and plans to hold another info session on mail safety soon. For details about the info sessions, please contact Campus Mail Services.
