Tower orange for women’s track and field championship
The Tower at The University of Texas at Austin will shine orange Wednesday evening (Aug. 31) to celebrate the Women’s Track and Field 2005 NCAA National Outdoor Track and Field Championship victory. The Tower will be lighted entirely orange with a No. 1 displayed in white on all four sides. With the Tower lighting, the team will officially cap its celebration of the national title win at the championships held June 8-11 at Sacramento State University’s Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, Calif.
