Tower to be darkened in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001
The Tower at The University of Texas at Austin will be darkened from sunset on Friday, Sept. 9 until sunrise on Saturday, Sept. 10 as part of a city-wide remembrance of the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2001. The special lighting configuration will be a darkened Tower with white cap and observation deck. All other levels of the Tower will be dark, including windows.
