
Provisions for classes canceled Dec. 7-8The following provisions have been made to make up classes canceled due to inclement weather on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8. Classes and exams scheduled for Wednesday (Dec. 7) after 2 p.m. will be made up on Monday (Dec. 12) using the same class or exam schedule and location. Classes and exams scheduled for Thursday (Dec. 8) will be made up on Tuesday (Dec. 13) using the same class or exam schedule and location. If this “last” class meeting is not necessary, faculty may cancel the class. Contact your professor if you have questions about individual class meetings or your dean’s office if you have additional questions about academic matters. University Extension students should contact the University Extension office for information about rescheduling evening classes. Final examinations (except in the School of Law) will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 14, as originally published. Final examinations in the School of Law will begin on Monday, Dec. 12, as originally published. Student organization meetings scheduled by the Student Activities and Leadership Development office may have been canceled for Monday and Tuesday. Austin State University will go on as scheduled this evening, beginning at the previously announced tip time of 7 p.m. at the Frank Erwin Center, despite the closing of the UT campus today due to weather. Employees who must work to provide essential services and functions will receive state compensatory time. All university buildings normally locked by night custodial staff will be locked by the day custodial staff immediately after closure.
