AUSTIN, Texas—“Go Red” Day took place Friday, Feb. 3. Austinites were asked by the American Heart Association to wear red in recognition of the fact that heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States.

The campus and Austin communities were invited to join in a photograph that was taken on the South Mall. Participants wearing red formed the shape of a heart for the photograph.

This event was co-sponsored by the Faculty Women’s Association and the Beta Chi Theta, Alpha Phi and Delta Sigma Theta student organizations.
