Curriculum Committee
The International Social Work Curriculum Committee was established when the grand visions committee met on two occasions, October 13 and October 27, 2004, to discuss the multiple efforts related to international social work that already exist within the School of Social Work as well as visions for future endeavors and recommendations. The group identified and prioritized four major areas of focus - 1) field education, 2) curriculum development, 3) international students, and 4) research and faculty exchange. Given existing strength in this area, initial focus is placed on maintaining international field placements and improving the process by which we place student in these placements, followed by curriculum development, international students, and research and faculty exchanges.
