Project Green Leaf

The overall goal of services to be provided is the improved mental health status of refugee families by the provision of social work (holistic) multilevel interventions in support of stress management/mental health of individuals, couples, families, and service providers

"Youth, Education, and Juvenile Justice: Delinquency rehabilitation and prevention in Brazil and the United States. The experiences of the States of Rio Grande do Sul and Texas"

Purpose: two symposia (one in Austin, TX; one in Porto Alegre, Brazil) with faculty and professional level exchange prior to student exchange to establish understanding of issues, models, and areas for work in both countries. Perspectivas Sociales: A bi-national journal (Mexico and the USA) was developed through the collaborative work of UT, School of Social Work and Facultad de Trabajo Social, Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon.
