There are three different ways you can be involved with Austin's SWAN Chapter. One way to be involved is to be on the Austin SWAN Listserv and receive emails about upcoming events. This is an easy way to stay connected to your alumni network.

There are two ways to join the Austin SWAN Mailing List

1. Please send your email address to Meg Poag at megpoag@yahoo.com to join the Austin SWAN List.

2. Follow these directions:

Simply send the request:

subscribe AustinSWAN FIRSTNAME LASTNAME

(insert YOUR first and last name where it says FIRSTNAME and LASTNAME) in the body of a message (with no subject line) to the address:

listproc@lists.cc.utexas.edu

Several important notes regarding your registration for the AustinSWAN mailing list

1. Please make sure that the email account you use to register is the email address that you wish to have SWAN announcements delivered to, as registration is automated and you will not be prompted to have announcements sent anywhere else.

2. Your email information will not be accessible to anyone nor will it ever be released. This is a closed and private mailing list; therefore it cannot be accessed or joined by anyone other than UTSSW graduates, and membership will be monitored by SWAN Board Directors.

3. Save the welcome message sent to you when you subscribe to the list. It contains important information, including how to remove yourself from the list, and how to get in touch with SWAN if you have questions about the list or other SWAN-related issues.
