The Local Innovation Grants to Provide Welfare Avoidance and Workforce Preparation Services is an ensemble of local area efforts to promote work and economic self-sufficiency and reduce welfare use among TANF or potential TANF clients. The Center for Social Work Research will conduct an evaluation of these programs and will make recommendations for other similar innovations.
