Social Work Council Lecturer Teaching Excellence Award Nomination Form
Use the form below for nominations for the Social Work Council Lecturer Teaching Excellence Award for the current academic year. This is an annual award sponsored by the Social Work Council to recognize teaching excellence within our School. Traditionally the winner is announced during the Social Work Council's Faculty/Staff Appreciation Week and recognized at our School's graduation ceremony. Faculty and student participation is an important part of the selection process.
The criteria for nomination are:
- evidence of excellent teaching ability by a lecturer at the BSW or MSSW levels at the UT School of Social Work;
- at least two nominations of an individual.
The process for selection will include:
- seeking nominations from both faculty and students;
- review of nominations by the Social Work Council;
- seeking additional information from nominees, such as teaching evaluations, if necessary.
