Participants will learn the theory and specific practice techniques of this experiential tool that you can use with children, adolescents, and adults. This workshop is divided into 3 parts: theory and practice, demonstration, and self-practice.
PRESENTER: Lauren Gaspar, LCSW
Lauren Gaspar has a private practice called the Good Mourning Counseling Center in Austin. She specializes in the practice of play therapy and sandtray therapy with children and adolescents, with a focus on addressing trauma, depression, anxiety, and bereavement. She has been a lecturer for The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work since 2006.
