Clinical Assistant Professor and Integrated Behavioral Health Scholars Program Coordinator
Robin McCullough Smith was born and raised in Houston, and earned her MSSW degree at the University of Texas. Her professional experience includes work in public healthcare, psychiatric acute care, medical social work, and social work education. Professor Smith was Manager of Admissions for St. David’s Pavilion psychiatric hospital for eight years, and taught undergraduate social work as a lecturer for nine years prior to joining the Clinical Faculty. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a board certified Clinical Supervisor and a member of NASW. Professor Smith enjoys volunteering as a classroom reading coach with Austin Partners in Education, and hiking and biking with her husband and son in the mountains of New Mexico every summer.
