About

Amy Drizhal received her MFA in Theatre for Youth from the UT College of Fine Arts in 1999. Her interests included theatre outreach and creative dramatics, and she is passionate about finding innovative ways to use the arts as a means for community engagement and reaching underserved populations.

For the past six years, Amy has worked in development for the University of Southern California, Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles, most recently as Associate Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations. One of her main responsibilities was securing funding for music outreach programs, which primarily served school-aged children in South Central Los Angeles. Prior to that she worked for the UT School of Theatre and Dance as a lecturer and as the departmentās archivist, as well as for the UT Performing Arts Center as assistant to the Outreach Director.
