Karen Kalergis is the Associate Director of the Institute on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault at The University of Texas at Austin. Karen's skills at strategic planning, program development and curriculum writing contribute to the Institute's mission of advancing the knowledge related to domestic violence and sexual assault in an effort to end violence. Karen's has more than 25 years experience in nonprofit, corporate and government management with an emphasis on using strategic collaborations to accomplish program goals. She also serves as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center.
