Follies

Join SSW alumni and friends (and maybe even Elvis?) for Fall Follies 2009 Vegas Night! Our annual fundraiser for the Social Work Student Support Fund, to be held Friday, November 13, 2009, 5:30-9 p.m., at the School of Social Work. The evening will feature gaming, a silent and live auction and musical entertainment by The Band in Black...Hailing from the Live Music Capital of the World Austin, Texas, The Band in Black is a four-piece quartet dedicated solely in musical tribute to their hero the late Hall of Fame Legend Johnny Cash. We will also enjoy catering prepared by Pascal Jeannin of Pascal's Catering.

Proceeds from this event are the major source for replenishing the Student Support Fund which is available for students who face an emergency that results in a loss of income or stability, that may require travel, or in other situations that might hinder a student's ability to complete their academic program. The fund is also available for student professional development opportunities as a resource for defraying expenses for approved conferences and workshops.
