Community Explores UT and Social Work, March 7

The School of Social Work will join in the fun of "Explore UT: The Biggest Open House in Texas," on Saturday, March 7. Explore UT provides an opportunity for visitors to examine the rich and varied programs that are a part of everyday life on this campus.

With more than 400 diverse activities taking place between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., there is something of interest for all ages. All activities are free and no registration is required. A complete schedule of activities can be found online.

Help Starts Here

Come and spin the Social Work Wheel of Wonder and learn about the exciting field of social work. In thousands of ways, social workers help people help themselves—people of every age, from every background and in every corner of the country—wherever they're needed.

Social Work Child Well-Fair

The School of Social Work is among the nation's top 10 schools dedicated to building safe and healthy relationships in our community. Explore child and family services in a therapeutic play environment and learn why play infuses a creative spirit in life.

Explore UT will take place rain or shine. Information on parking, food options and a list of activities is available online at the Explore UT Web site.

The University Co-op, cooperatively owned by the faculty, students and staff of The University of Texas at Austin, is a major sponsor of the event.
