Educational Forum on Evidence-Based Practice and Addiction Treatment, May 29

AUSTIN, Texas - A free educational forum, "What Does Evidence-Based Practice Have to Do with Addiction Treatment?," presented by Hazelden, Austin Recovery, Texas Star Recovery and The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work, will be held from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. on May 29 at Austin Recovery, 8402 Cross Park Drive. Speaker Val Slaymaker, Ph.D., is Interim Senior Vice President of the Research and Education Division and Provost of the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies. Her presentation will review research supporting the Twelve Step philosophy and treatment approach. Registration: Space is limited. Register online by May 25th to ensure your participation.
