Tickets on Sale Now for Fall Follies 2009 Fundraiser for Student Support Fund

AUSTIN, Texas - Join The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work for Fall Follies 2009 Vegas Night! This annual fundraiser for the Social Work Student Support Fund will be held Friday, November 13, from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., at the School of Social Work.

The evening will feature gaming, silent and live auctions, and musical entertainment by The Band in Black. Catering will be provided by Pascal Jeannin of Pascal's Catering.

Proceeds from this event are the major source for replenishing the Student Support Fund which is available for social work students who face an emergency that results in a loss of income or stability, that may require travel, or in other situations that might hinder a student's ability to complete their academic program. The fund is also available for student professional development opportunities as a resource for defraying expenses for approved conferences and workshops.

Order of Program:
6:00 p.m.: Silent Auction, Gaming, and Food served
7:45 p.m.: Silent Auction Closes
7:45 p.m.: Live Auction with entertainment featuring The Band in Black

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the school's DiNitto Center for Career Services or by credit card by calling 512-232-7362. Ticket prices: $18 until Oct. 29; $25 after October 29 or at the door; $10 for children under 12.
