Clinical assistant professor Cossy Hough had the op-ed “Texas’ Independence Fails with Health Care” published in today’s Houston Chronicle.
In the op-ed, Hough describes an amendment recently passed in the Texas Legislature to deny Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act, and explains how this amendment hurts low-income families in the state.
