Prospective Students

Thank you for your interest in the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work. We offer a professional education leading to a Bachelor's of Social Work (BSW), a Master's of Science in Social Work (MSSW) or a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work (PhD) degree for those interested in social work practice, policy, administration, research and teaching.

If you are considering a degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin, we encourage you to visit the school. You may attend regularly scheduled MSSW program meetings to find out more about the programs and individual appointments for all academic programs may be scheduled when necessary. Please contact the Office of Admissions to schedule a visit and to arrange for parking.
