How To Apply
Welcome! We are excited you are interested in the School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin.
The School of Social Work Office of Admissions is here to support prospective students from the time they first inquire about the School to when they enroll.
In addition to coordinating admission to the School's graduate programs, we represent the needs of prospective students; facilitate the continuous improvement of our admission service and ensure the admission process adheres to the intent of the School's mission and core values.
If you are interested in an undergraduate degree in social work, we would be happy to speak with you about the profession and the School. Just keep in mind that undergraduate admission for first-year and transfer students is coordinated through the University's centralized admission office. Visit the Be A Longhorn page for more information.
If you are interested in our graduate programs, we encourage you to visit the School, get connected with a current student through our Dean's Ambassador program, and let us know what ways we might assist you during the admission process.
