Holdings and Resources Aavailable in the LRC

Journals

An in-house resource collection including all nationally published social work journals and a broad range of key journals in mental health, children, adolescence, families, chemical dependence, health, gerontology and cultural diversity and classic, out-of-print social work texts. The materials are available in loving memory of Josleen Lockhart, who was a faculty member at the school from 1956-1978. These resources may be used by students in the reading rooms or checked out for photocopying purposes. This resource collection is a non-circulating collection. Indexes to all journals are available in the entry area of the LRC and a complete list of journals is available on the Web.

Videos

The School of Social Work owns a large collection of videotapes for use by faculty or students in classes or in the LRC. You may preview material at any time the LRC is open and a complete list of videos is available on the Web.

All labs are equipped with color cameras, video recorders, and monitors. Students are expected to provide their own blank tapes for class projects.
