Annual ACA/APSA Professional Development Day (PDD)
The Annual ACA/APSA Professional Development Day (PDD) is taking place Thursday, February 13, 2014 at The University of Texas at Austin’sStudent Activities Center. PDD is a one-day, collaborative professional development conference for Academic Counselors and Advisors as well as Student Affairs and Academic Affairs professionals from UT-Austin and surrounding institutions.
We are excited to announce this year’s theme: Invest in Yourself, Invest in Others. Our profession revolves around investing in our students, staff, faculty, and campus communities. PDD provides us with the opportunity to Invest in Ourselves through engaging in professional development with our colleagues and celebrating the fantastic things we are doing campus-wide and beyond.
We look forward to having you join us for a wonderful PDD. We will send out information related to logistics and registration in the spring. In the meantime, we encourage you to submit a proposal to present at PDD. Sessions should be geared towards the professional and skill development of conference attendees and should therefore be more than a simple information session about programs and services available. Sessions will be 45 minutes in length.
