The Hispanic Faculty/Staff Association has a distinguished record of accomplishments based on service to the university community. Our members participate in a number of activities and programs, both as advisors and volunteers. HFSA also sponsors the Holiday Assistance Program. In May 2006, The University of Texas Volunteer and Service Learning Center (VSLC) recognized the contributions this program has made over the years at its annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony and presented HFSA with the 2006 Outstanding Faculty/Staff Organization Award for Community Service.
