Hispanic and Latino pioneers, movers and shakers from the Austin community will share personal experiences that paved the pathway to progress for the Hispanic and Latino communities in Austin, Texas. The panel discussion will also highlight the struggles, successes, and hopes for the future of this community.

Dr. Gonzalo Garza: Former Superintendent, Austin Independent School District.
Martha P. Cotera: Librarian; writer; influential activist: Chicano Civil Rights Movement, Chicana Feminist Movement (1960s & 1970s).
Sam Coronado: Artist; co-founder, Mexic-Arte Museum; founder, Serie Project, a non-profit organization.
Andy Martinez: President/CEO, Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
