Book Collection to Benefit UT Elementary School
The Hispanic Faculty/Staff Association (HFSA) is organizing a book collection to benefit the UT Elementary School (UTES). HFSA members are encouraged to bring books and learning materials to the March 6th and April 10th HFSA general meetings.
The primary goals of the HFSA book collection are to collect new hardback books for the main UTES library and to collect paperbacks and 'gently' used books for the classrooms.
The following list of learning materials addresses the needs of UTES students:
  • Picture books for 4, 5, and 6 year olds.
  • Spanish language books for 4, 5, and 6 year olds.
  • Beginning readers for 5 and 6 year olds.
  • Chapter books for 7, 8 and 9 year olds.
  • Dictionaries and Thesauruses for 3rd and 4th graders.
  • Math flashcards of all sorts, colors, and shapes.
If you're interested in participating in the HFSA Book Collection, please contact Cynthia Sanchez or Luis Guevara.
